Level 1
This program is designed to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude of the trainees to the standard required by the occupation. The contents of this program are in line with the occupational standard.
The trainee who successfully completes the Program will be qualified to work as a Textile Processer with competencies elaborated in the respective OS.
Graduates of the program will have the required qualification to work in the Industry sector in the field of Textile Processing Technology. The prime objective of this training program is to equip the Trainees with the identified competencies specified in the OS.
Graduates are therefore expected to:
- Identify the production process and organizational structure in the textile processing unit,
- Identify inputs for textile processing,
- Perform handling of materials and load-shifting equipment,
- Perform Pretreatment Operations,
- Perform dyeing operations,
- Perform printing operations,
- Perform final finishing operations, and
- Apply 5S Procedures
in accordance with the performance criteria and evidence guide described in the OS.
Level 2
This program is designed to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude of the trainees to the standard required by the occupation. The contents of this program are in line with the occupational standard.
The trainees who successfully completed the Program will be qualified to work as a Textile Processors with competencies elaborated in the respective OS.
Graduates of the program will have the required qualification to work in the Industry sector in the field of Textile Processing Technology. The prime objective of this training program is to equip the Trainees with the identified competencies specified in the OS.
Graduates are therefore expected to:
- Weigh and Check Textile chemical processing inputs,
- Perform pretreatment operations,
- Perform dyeing operations,
- Perform printing operations,
- Perform final finishing operations,
- Perform final inspection and packaging of finished Textiles,
- Use Specialized Machinery to Assist Textile processing Production,
- Perform online process quality control and
- Prevent and Eliminate MUDA
in accordance with the performance criteria and evidence guide described in the OS.
Level 3
This program is designed to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude of the trainees to the standard required by the occupation. The contents of this program are in line with the occupational standard.
The trainee who successfully completes the Program will be qualified to work as a Textile Processer with competencies elaborated in the respective OS.

- Prepare and handle textile inputs used in Textile chemical processing,
- Perform Machine Setting for production,
- Apply Cost Factors to Work Practices,
- Produce Textile Designs and Prototypes,
- Apply dyeing techniques to produce Indigenous textile designs,
- Apply printing techniques to produce indigenous textile designs, and
- Organize and interpret tests
in accordance with the performance criteria and evidence guide described in the OS.
Level 4
This program is designed to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude of the trainees to the standard required by the occupation. The contents of this program are in line with the occupational standard.
The trainees who successfully completed the Program will be qualified to work as a Textile Processer with competencies elaborated in the respective OS.
Graduates of the program will have the required qualification to work in the Industry sector in the field of Textile Technology. The prime objective of this training program is to equip the Trainees with the identified competencies specified in the OS.
Graduates are therefore expected to:
- Understand and apply textile processing,
- Prepare standard dye recipe for textile,
- Supervise Operations in Textile processing units,
- Interpret and Apply Textile processing Calculations and Specifications,
- Apply Quality Systems and Statistical Quality Control,
- Set-Up up textile processing Machines for Product Change,
- Estimate Cost Job,
- Plan and Organize textile processing operations, and
- Develop of New finished Textile Product
in accordance with the performance criteria and evidence guide described in the OS.
Level 5

- Analyze the use of color in textiles,
- Identify Opportunities in the Textile Market, and
- Manage the Environment Impact of the textile Process
in accordance with the performance criteria and evidence guide described in the OS.
